VIOSO Experience Designer wins ProjectorCentral Best of Show Award at InfoComm 2026
VIOSO Experience Designer has received a ProjectorCentral Best of Show Award at InfoComm 2026, recognising the platform’s approach to projection design and simulation.
The award was announced during InfoComm in Las Vegas, less than two months after Experience Designer was officially launched.
Bringing projection planning into the browser
Experience Designer was developed to help AV professionals make better-informed decisions before arriving on site. Working entirely in a browser, it allows users to build a projection environment in 3D and test projector placement, coverage, brightness, lens behaviour and potential occlusions while a project is still being planned.
ProjectorCentral highlighted this “virtual site survey” approach in its award coverage, alongside manufacturer-accurate projector libraries, screen-gain modelling, photometric calculations and support for LED installations.
These tools give designers a clearer view of what is technically achievable, while making it easier to communicate a proposal to customers, creative teams and other project partners.

From early design to final deployment
Experience Designer sits at the beginning of the wider VIOSO workflow. A project can be designed and simulated in the browser, calibrated using VIOSO 7 or ProjectionTools, and then operated using EXAPLAY 3 and VIOSO media-server hardware.
Receiving the award at InfoComm is useful recognition of the work that has gone into Experience Designer, but also of the practical problem it was created to solve: helping project teams understand complex projection systems earlier, before decisions become difficult or expensive to change.
